Cosmetic Dentistry

Having a great smile can make a huge difference in the way you look & feel. Family Dental offers a complete range of cosmetic treatments to create the confident smile you’ve always wanted. We begin with a detailed smile assessment, discussing with you which aspects you like & dislike about your smile. Once our assessment is complete, we will discuss with you treatment options to help your smile look more natural, youthful & healthy.

Teeth Whitening

Our one-hour teeth whitening allows you to have significantly whiter teeth in one office visit. Both comfortable & affordable, one-hour teeth whitening can make your teeth up to six to eight shades lighter in minutes. It’s safe, effective, fast & performed only by dental professionals. Call Family Dental today for your appointment or more details.

Traditional or Invisible Braces

Having straight teeth is important for both health & appearance. Not only do we have traditional metal braces, but we also offer newer, subtler varieties. One option is clear braces, which straighten teeth without calling attention to the fact that you have braces. The aesthetic aspect is important because having a smile you love can affect your happiness & self-esteem, whether you are an adult, a teenager, or a child. To learn more about our orthodontic options, please contact our Family Dental today at (650) 286-9999!

Mercury-Free Dentistry

Mercury Amalgam (silver) fillings may be hazardous to your health. At Family Dental, we believe that the overall health of our patients always comes first. Accordingly, at our office we have elected to only use new & advanced fillings made of tooth-colored materials that contain no metals or mercury. It’s just one more way that we show our how much we care. Your safety & smile are our primary concerns!

Restore Your Smile

We offer state-of-the-art restorative care. We know that even when you do everything right, something can go wrong. If you are suffering from a dental problem, we are here to help. Modern technology, combined with the in-depth experience of our clinical team, can assure you of a successful & long-lasting result. Whether the cause is accident or disease, Family Dental can restore your smile.

Dental Implants

Dental implants are man-made replacements for natural teeth. The implants themselves are artificial tooth roots anchored in the gum or jawbone, on which replacement teeth are permanently secured. Since implanted teeth are fixed in the mouth, they allow a return to the comfort & function of natural teeth. Increased chewing ability means you can enjoy more nutritious foods, contributing to your overall health & well-being. In short, dental implants improve the quality of your life. They can improve your appearance, boost your self-confidence & allow you to speak with greater clarity. Call Family Dental today to see if dental implants are right for you!

Dentures

If you’ve lost teeth from decay, injury or periodontal (gum) disease, dentures are the solution. Whether you need partial or full dentures, they’re essential not only to improve the look of your smile, but also your oral health. In addition to allowing you to eat as if you had never lost your teeth, dentures also protect against facial sagging that would otherwise occur & cause a more aged appearance. Dentures can also improve your speech. Denture maintenance combined with a regular regimen of proper brushing can guarantee you’ll lead a more comfortable, healthy life. Please call Family Dental today to discuss if dentures are the right option for you!

Crowns & Bridges

If you suffer from decayed or missing teeth, restorative dentistry can help you. A crown can repair a damaged tooth, while a bridge provides a secure replacement for a missing tooth. Both look & feel completely natural, so don’t put up with discomfort any longer. Call Family Dental today!

General Dentistry

The Doctors of Family Dental have extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment, management & coordination of dental services to care for our patients & their families. General dentistry includes everything from preventive education & regular visits to fillings, crowns, bridges, & more. Moreover, we provide care for both children & adults, & know how best to care for both. At Family Dental, your continued oral health is our top priority.

Low-Radiation Digital X-Rays

We offer in-office digital x-rays for your convenience. Digital x-rays are computer-generated images. These images require up to 90% less radiation than with conventional film-type x-rays. Instead of using the traditional silver-oxide x-ray film that must be developed & then fixed in caustic & environmentally damaging solutions, the new system takes pictures via a small electronic sensor & instantaneously transmits a picture of the tooth onto the video monitor in the treatment room. Therefore, we can see your teeth & surrounding structures immediately. Feel free to contact us for more details or to make an appointment!

Sedation Dentistry

Wake up to a more healthy & beautiful smile with amazingly comfortable sedation dentistry. We care for patients who:

  • are afraid of needles & shots.
  • have had bad experiences before.
  • have not been to the dentist in a long time.
  • always gag when having dental work done.
  • just can’t seem to get numb.
  • feel their teeth are too far gone for traditional treatment.
